DETAILED GUIDE:
DAY 1 ARRIVAL SWITZERLAND
Take the train via central Switzerland to Locarno, where you are based for 2 nights.
DAY 2 VERZASCA DAM – “GOLDENEYE”
Today take the Postbus to “Diga Verzasca”, a 20-minute ride from the station in Locarno. Here you will ind the Verzasca Dam, where you can stand and look down to the valley loor, just as Bond did in the eighteenth 007 ilm, “GoldenEye”. Time at leisure.
DAY 3 THE FURKA PASS – “GOLDFINGER”
Today`s journey takes you from Bellinzona to Bern, via Andermatt and Brig. This trip passes close to the Furka Pass, where Bond famously drove at high speed in the third 007 movie, “Goldinger”.
DAY 4 BERN – “ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE”
The Swiss capital, Bern, a UNESCO World Heritage site featured in the early part of the sixth 007 movie, “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”. A tour of the old town is included with a private guide.
DAY 5 LAKE CRUISE TO THE BERNESE OBERLAND
Take the train from Bern to Thun, on the shores of the lake. From here, take a cruise to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and onwards via Stechelberg to Mürren. Dinner this evening is included at the hotel.
DAY 6 LAUTERBRUNNEN & GRINDELWALD – “ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE”
Enjoy the views from your hotel before heading to the station in Lauterbrunnen, where many scenes from the ilm were shot. Take the train via Zweilütschinen to Grindelwald, where the ice-skating scenes were shot in the centre of the village. Time at leisure.
DAY 007 MÜRREN & SCHILTHORN PIZ GLORIA – “ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE”
Early-morning ride on the cable car to Piz Gloria, Blofeld’s lair in the movie. Your James Bond breakfast comes with a glass of Bollinger champagne, Bond’s favourite. A tour of Bond World provides interactive experience for all Bond fans. Time to experience the Thrill Walk, Allmendhubel, and/or Mürren.
DAY 8 MISSION COMPLETED
Your mission is complete. Departure home.
